About this Position

What you´ll do

  • Assist the Henkel Adhesive Technologies start-up scouting team in scouting and identifying emerging start-ups in fields that are relevant for specific market segments
  • Develop an automized AI process for start-up scouting and technology assessment
  • Analyze different technologies and business models and assess their potential impact on Henkel’s adhesive business
  • Help organize data collection and data storage in sharepoints, and maintain a database of identified start-ups, technologies and business opportunities
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations on start-up landscapes and specific collaborations 
  • Collaborate with members across different teams to evaluate the feasibility and strategic fit of start-up solutions for Henkel

What makes you a good fit 

  • Student, who is currently enrolled and persuing their Master's or PhD in the field of chemistry, business engineering, data science or similar
  • Practical or international experience, e.g. through former internships or time abroad, is beneficial
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Firm knowledge of MS-Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and evaluate different business models, technologies and market trends
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely in reports and presentations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, contributing to both research tasks and collaborative projects
  • A general understanding of the start-up ecosystems and an interest in emerging technologies
  • Availability for a full-time internship at our headquarters in Düsseldorf, starting August 2026 for a duration of six months, ideally

We offer you an attractive salary between €1.050-2.270 gross per month. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
