About this Position
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
IT Commercial Process Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining processes that ensure effective Software Assets Management (SAM) across the global Henkel organization.
You will work closely with IT technical and commercial teams, as well as procurement and compliance supported by external consultants.
Our goal is to optimize software usage, reduce costs, and maintain license compliance.
What you´ll do
- Develop and maintain SAM processes, policies, and standards aligned with internal Guidelines and industry best practices
- Oversee the lifecycle of (software) assets, including procurement, deployment, usage and retirement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage vendor relationships and negotiate licensing terms
- Monitor and analyze software usage data to identify optimization opportunities and cost savings
- Provide regular reporting and insights on software inventory, compliance status, and financial impact
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SAM processes and tools
What makes you a good fit
- Master or bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years’ working experience in related fields (e.g. IT-Controlling, Software or IT Asset Management, IT Process Management, IT-Consulting)
- Affinity for Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities and experience in cost efficiency and cost management initiatives
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluent English skills
