About this Position

Take the lead in shaping impactful, people‑driven HR strategies across Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia & Herzigovina—partnering with leaders, empowering teams, and driving cultural transformation.

What you´ll do

  • Develop and execute local HR strategies for Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia in alignment with regional and global objectives
  • Act as the main HR partner for all HR matters at the local level, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions to stakeholders
  • Offer direct support and guidance to managers, enabling the achievement of business objectives and fostering their professional growth
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with company policies
  • Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to drive cultural transformation initiatives and align HR strategies with business goals
  • Lead the local HR team, ensuring consistent and high-quality implementation of HR practices and standards
  • Foster a strong and inclusive employee experience that drives engagement, performance, and retention
  • Cultivate positive relationships with external stakeholders and represents the company in industrial relations and with trade unions
  • Location: Maribor or Zagreb

What makes you a good fit

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in HR Business Partner or HR Country roles within an international matrix environment
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and good Slovenian and/or Croatian language skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in driving strategic talent initiatives (e.g., talent reviews, succession planning, development planning) and leading complex HR projects, change efforts, and cultural transformation programs
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, combined with sound judgment and the ability to challenge existing approaches to drive data-informed, forward-looking decisions
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity with resilience, flexibility, and a reflective mindset, adapting effectively to evolving business needs
  • Demonstrated capability to shape and deliver sustainable transformation through visionary thinking, cross-functional networking, and strong emotional intelligence
  • High affinity for AI and digital innovation, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance HR processes and enable business impact
