About this Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process improvement, manufacturing operations, and engineering design. You will work closely with experienced engineers to support projects that enhance production efficiency, product quality, and safety.

What you´ll do

  • Assist in analyzing existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collect, organize, and interpret data to support process optimization.
  • Support the development and testing of process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance.
  • Document procedures, test results, and engineering changes.
  • Participate in troubleshooting production issues and proposing solutions.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

What makes you a good fit

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interest in manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, be able to produce clear, accurate written documents and conduct verbal communication.
