About this Position
Application engineer who works together with business team by providing technical support of adhesives and sealants through the intensive communication with regional/ global team and customers as well
What you´ll do
- Lead technical commercialization with customers by leveraging strong knowledge of the product portfolio and application processes.
- Demonstrate product performance using lab-tested data and technical documentation.
- Deliver technical presentations to customers showcasing product capabilities and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product – and process-related issues in collaboration with customers.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Introduce newly developed products to target markets and customers.
- Identify gaps in existing products offerings and propose ideas for new product development.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer science, Material Science or other related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the chemical or machinery/engineering industry
- Laboratory experience in an academic course and hands-on chemical testing is required
- Experience in General Machinery, Automotive and/or Electronics Industries, PD or Sales experience is preferred if with laboratory experience
- Fluency in Korean and strong business proficiency in English is required
- Time management skills, strong verbal communication skills, solid interpersonal skills
- Collaboration as a team, able to work independently on multi-task assignments, successfully self-directs project work, customer-oriented mindset, commitment to deliver quality work consistently
